This is one of my favorite RR purchases I have ever made. It was about time someone designed a pot in this shape. It is perfect for boiling pasta but can be used for so much more. With that in mind, it took me a minute to find the perfect spot to store it while not in use. Because of its oblong features, it takes up a lot of valuable storage space. It is on the higher end price-wise, but was worth the investment. The spout on the side is wonderful for pouring off extra water and helps guide pasta just where you want it when draining.

For the price I would expect this item to be in perfect condition. NOT. Has two scratches in the non-stick surface. I love the style. The color is fine. For the amt of money, I did not expect to get something that was less than perfect. It came in a box, sealed from Rachel Ray, so I don't think Kohl's is @ fault but I hate the hassle of having to return something that should have been in perfect condition when it was shipped. I guess there is a reason all my other pans are Paula Deen.

The oval pasta pot is a great idea. spaghetti fits in very well and has lots of room to cook well. Here are some weaknesses.
first it is rather cheap looking and feeling, very thin. The color is way too bright, brighter than the photo. The last thing is that the pot is awkward to put on the burner. I have a pro range so I have extra room but for a smaller stove top it wouldn't work.

I got this pot earlier this year and have been able to use it for lots of things. It is very roomy and although it is big on my burner, I thought it wasn't going to warm up evenly - it does. My mother in-law gravitates to use this pot all the time when she cooks in my kitchen. It is big and awkward for storage but, overall worth the money.
