This was my first Haan product. I purchased it quite a few years ago after being disappointed with another brand's steam mop. It has no bells, no whistles, it's just a basic steam mop. But it is still working, and that is important! It's not going to perform miracles, won't get your grungy floor tile grout clean, but it will get the gunk off your hard floors.

I had been looking at steams mops for a long time. I really wanted one since I had been getting on my hands and knees to clean my floors. Eventually, I told my husband that I was never going to do that again! I looked at many, many brands and models. I liked the fact that Haan gave me the information that I wanted that none of the others did: the steam temperature, number of steam outlets, etc. This product was SUPER easy to use! I was a little worried when I opened the large box and saw all the pieces, but I literally had it put together and was cleaning in less than 5 minutes! I plan on giving this one to my dad and buying another for myself.

I love using a steam mop on my wood floors because after I'm done they look like new. I've had 2 Haan products in the last 4 years and both have failed. I seriously used each probably 5 times each before they stopped steaming. Each time I use the mop I'd make sure the tank was empty, let it air dry. I've read the info about using it once a month, distilled water, using the packet to clean it. The issue is paying so much for a product that is so fussy and stops working after only a few uses. IF there's a problem with the lines clogging, how about making a way to access the lines to clear them out. Having to throw away a product because the stupid line is clogged is, well, stupid.

Like other reviewers, I was initially thrilled with this product. I am a light user, every two weeks. After just a few months, I noticed cracks in the head. The steamer was still usable so I continued to use it. The cracks spread through the entire head and then the corners started breaking off. Looked like heat stress but shouldn't the material be heat-worthy? I contacted Haan and they agreed to replace it since it was just days out of warranty. (Thank you Haan) Now the replacement has stopped heating and it is out of warranty by several months. I am told I should have been descaling the product monthly. Really? every other use? Haan is willing to give me $20 toward a new purchase. As a result of my negative experiences I cannot recommend this product.
