Rated 1 out of 5 by Literally just got this tea pot... Just used it for the first time and noticed that it's already starting to rust around the metal trim of the spout. I will be returning this as soon as possible. Quality is clearly not good. Do not waist your money. The color (red) is more like a burnt orange too. It looks like they ran out of paint and just stretched it out, so it doesn't look red but a faded version of red. 12/07/2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice Teakettle This is the second teakettle I have purchased. My daughter asked to use my originally purchased one and never returned it! I had used it for about a week. Hence, it became an early birthday gift to her. The second teakettle I purchased exactly the same in black. However, the whistle on the second one is quite low. The first teakettle whistle is much louder. All in all, I do like the design of this teakettle and would purchase it again. 05/15/2016
Rated 3 out of 5 by Surprised by the color! I purchased this teakettle mostly for the "vintage hue" (green), which looked beautiful online. When I opened the box, I was shocked to see the actual color. It's so dark and unusual, and borderline ugly, in my opinion. I even left it on the counter for a day to see if the color would grow on me, but it just got worse. I liked the design, and the quality was alright, but the color was not even close to what I was expecting. I returned the kettle, so I cannot comment on its performance. 03/15/2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Piece of junk I purchased this tea kettle 6 weeks ago. I was replacing a 15 year old Calphalon anodized kettle, which, for some reason, is no longer made, because it was getting pitted inside from hard water. I should have held onto that kettle! This kettle started to rust on the stainless steel trim from the second week. No matter how carefully I tried to open the spout cover, boiling water always splattered out onto my hand. Two days ago, the pin ,holding the spring which moves the spout cover, fell out. I have NO IDEA who makes a decent tea kettle! Before purchasing this one, I spent hours looking at negative reviews of countless tea kettles: some that were twice the price of this one. I gave up and bought this one because they all sounded bad, and at least this one wasn't super expensive. I expected it to last a LITTLE longer than it did !!! 03/11/2013
