Rated 5 out of 5 by So much fun/need for boys This item is like my little girl had 20 plus yrs ago and she loved it. This is easy to use, fun, imaginative and what little girl does not like to be a dress designer. My sons had one too for cars and I cannot find them now. I hope you make one with one with cars, trucks, even animals that are more boy appealing. Even the option of extra plates would be nice. The girls love this and would very much like to buy some for the boys. 10/01/2015

Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the overall product I purchased 2 of these - one for my 5 yr old and one for our 4 yr old niece. While the overall quality is good, the opening cover does not stay on. This is the closest I have found to the fashion plates of my childhood, I just wish the the opening cover was better quality. My daughter has already spent hours designing new styles and loves it...it just takes a few minutes for every plate change for me to put the cover back on. 01/05/2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by My daughters love it, but some minor issues Both of my daughters love this! We do have 2 complaints however. The front panel keeps coming off (doesn't stay on well). The part where it connects to the base doesn't need to move, so we are going to try to super glue it down and see if that works. The other issue is that the instructions recommend cutting a letter size sheet of paper in half to be the correct size, but when we do that the paper slips around so much during the rubbing (even when holding the panel as instructed), that the design creates a double or blurry image. The one I had as a child had a much more secure method of holding the paper in place. We can make it work when we cut the paper larger than recommended, but that has been a pain (measuring to cut it and then the remaining paper isn't large enough to complete another design). I was hoping M&D sold a paper the perfect size, but have not found any. 12/14/2014
