Rated 3 out of 5Â by Buck1 Good as an alarm. Poor as a radio.
I purchased this radio to use as an alarm because you can adjust the volume to what is necessary to waken you and it has excellent volume control. It is very easy to set and has nice big numbers and top controls. As a radio, I cannot get any AM stations and only a few FM stations clearly.
Rated 1 out of 5Â by petesr Cheaply Made. Hard to use.
The controls (switches) on this clock were of extremely cheap quality.
Particularly the main control slide switch was hard to switch between positions and it was almost impossible to know what position the switch was in.
The alarm was too low in volume and had no adjustment.
We ended up using it as a clock only.
Very dissapointing buying experience!
Rated 5 out of 5Â by Skyambler Nice Size and Look
I needed something for my office room and this came in handy. I preferred the radio clocks to the docking stations for mobile devices. The display is nice, but I would have liked a feature where I can turn the light out completely but there isn't so I reduced the rating for style. The radio works really well in Chicago. The settings are easy to work with. Sleek design 8X7 inches. I hope it gives years of service.
Rated 3 out of 5Â by Sweetcakes Looks great, but display is too bright
I bought this after our bedroom alarm tanked. It's a good size, the green coloring is nice - as opposed to red or blue. It's easy to read at night. The only thing I don't like is that there is not a "dimmer" switch on it to tone down the light coming from the lighted numbers. It's very bright and there's no way to dim it.
