To be fair, shopping online comes with an inherent share of risk, and this is at least doubled when purchasing something more expensive than a pair of socks. I looked at many pictures of this watch online, and, while I was reading the word "ceramic" in multiple parts of the description, I did not see how "ceramic" translated in multiple parts of the photos. My monitor made the watch look as though the face was white, but that the band and bezel were silver toned (I assumed stainless steel). Therefore, I was greatly surprised when the watch arrived and I found it to have an alternating white band, white bezel, and white face. Like I mentioned, this was my own fault in not fully comprehending the description coupled with the inability for computer photos to accurately represent such intricacies. That being said, the "ceramic" looked to be nothing more than plastic to me. The "diamond accents" on the watch did not reflect any light at all, even when placed directly under fixtures, and were more like almost imperceptible chips placed in copious amounts of silver-toned mountings. I am fully aware that these were not supposed to be stones of significance, but I did feel that there should have been at least a glimmer equivalent to sand emitted. While the watch itself was weighty, my overall impression was that it looked like nothing more than a disposable fashion watch, and the price was not at all in alignment with my expectations. It was returned, which, of course, Kohl's is great about.
