We live in an apartment and do not have a lot of space for more than one set of dishes, so we had to carefully consider what we selected for our wedding registry. We wanted upscale everyday dishes that were also elegant for the occasional dinner party or holiday. These dishes perfectly fit our needs. I like the quality of the finish and weight of each piece. The colors and design are neutral without being boring; they stand well on their own, but also integrate well with other decorations and table linens. We have been using them for the past 4 months and are very happy with them. Highly recommended!

We registered for this pattern for our wedding, and I absolutely love it! The dark grey is a classic color, and will go with anything no matter how I decide to change the kitchen colors in the future. I love the wide-rimmed look of the plates as well.
My only complaint is that, three years in, the white/cream part of the plates has some scratching. I've read that you can remove this with something called barkeeper's helper, I just haven't tried it yet.
I would recommend this collection to anyone looking for a great set that can be used for casual dining, or classed up for formal dining.

My husband and I chose the Colorwave Graphite square pieces when selecting items for our wedding registry. We absolutely love the simple, classic look of the pattern, and especially enjoy the floral accent plates. As we watched items become checked off of the registry online, we were most excited when pieces for our dinner set and serving pieces were chosen by guests. Now that I have a complete service for 12, I use them every time I entertain, and am frequently complimented on the pattern. I would defintely recommend any of the Noritake products as I am defintely pleased and satisfied with these purchases.

My mother had let me borrow a set of her Noritake dishes - October Fest - when I went to college, so for the last ten years, I have tested the quality of the brand. The dishes are at least 35 years old and held up very well! When it came time for my fiance and I to register for our own set of dishes, we new we wanted Noritake and we new since they would last for decades, we wanted a timeless pattern. We chose the modern Colorwave Rim pattern in Graphite and Blue. These will always look elegant - formal enough for a formal dinner party, and casual enough to use everyday.
