I ordered online and had the pots delivered to the house--one of the lids came shattered with glass shards all over the box. In addition, two of the pots looked like they were used with slight irregular spots on the bottom. This makes me nervous--are these pots going to scratch so easily? The scratches were not from the shards as they were in plastic with cardboard linings. The set I got in exchange from the store were intact without scratches, but I am leery. I hope they are worth what I paid for them--needless to say I will be investing in plastic stirring spoons!

Used the stock pot for the first time this week. I hard boiled 16 eggs. Ididn't set the timer thought I would remember to check the eggs in time. When I remembered to check them the pan was bone dry.Iput the pan with the hard boiled eggs still in the the pan
And added hot water to the pan.Just enough to cover the eggs.Iwas very excited that only three of the eggs had been cracked and were edible.THE pan was npt damaged at all
I'm very pleased with my first set of cuisinart cook ware
.Also love that it has a life time warrenty.

I rate this at 3 stars bc I love the pans for cooking on the stove top they are a good quality and I love how easy they are to clean. However when buying the pans I made sure to check if they were approved for the oven and they claim to be oven safe at 500 degrees. When I tried this in a 350 degree oven the bottoms of the 2 pans I used now cave out and don't sit flat on the stove too anymore so things don't cook evenly at all. I am going to exchange for a new set as I like the product and will not use in oven again.

I purchased this set for my family for Christmas. On the FIRST use, the 3qt Saute Pan Lid shattered!!!! It ruined the food, scratched the new pan, and caused severe frustration! Upon calling Cuisinart and talking to Ashleigh (A superviser @ cuisinart), I was basically told to pound sand (as in they would not provide a new pot and lid, unless I spent $30-40 to return the damaged product, which was sitting in the garbage with the chilli that was ruined) I was very disapointed in there policy. Seeing as I am still within the 30 days from purchase, I plan on returning the 11 piece set (chilli and all) to kohls and asking for a full refund. I will never purchase cuisinart again!
