Rated 5 out of 5 by Fun learning toy I purchased this puzzle for my 2 year old grandson because I had purchased the same one for a granddaughter a few years ago and it is an awesome learning toy. It not only teaches the coordination of putting the puzzle together but also helps a child learn the alphabet letters in order and as they mature, you can start asking them to find a certain letter and they can start learning their sounds as well. It is a toy that I think can be used successfully by a child from age 2-4 because of the many activities you can use it for. Highly recommend as I do almost all Melissa & Doug toys. 01/01/2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worth the purchase My family has owned this puzzle for probably 4 years now and it's still being played with. My 3 boys, ages 9, 6, and 5, still pull it out and put this puzzle together. It's a fun abc learning tool. The pieces are large and very durable. Just make sure you have adequate floor space for assembly. 11/23/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this puzzle. My 2 year old son absolutely loves this puzzle, he can do it himself as long as I put the pieces back in the box in order for him. He's learning his alphabet, and having so much fun while doing it. The pieces are pretty big, which makes it a little bit easier for him to be able to put it together. He also loves how long it is, he always says "WHOA thats BIG!", and he feels so proud of himself when he gets it done all on his own. 01/12/2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for a variety of ages My son used this when he was 1 year and looked for the animals that I would name. Then he would match the animal and the letter (ie B for Bear). Later he put the alphabet in order. We love that it is educational and fun for a variety of stages. The pieces are very thick and durable and it is worth every penny! 11/29/2009
