Rated 3 out of 5 by Fun, but not educational My nephew Camden (3 yrs. old) had a lot of fun with this puzzle. I think I would give it a higher rating, but it's marked as educational and the dinosaur depictions are not very accurate. Like some others on the site, I wished there was a key to the species in the box. When I found it on the site I was excited, but I noticed quickly that many of the dinosaurs had the wrong shaped skulls or were depicted as the wrong size (compare Iguanodon and Coelophysis; Iguanodon should be much, much bigger and have a more elongated skull). In short, fun, but NOT educational. 08/10/2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by great puzzle but.... We LOVE Melissa and Doug puzzles in our house. My youngest son received the dinosaur puzzle as a Christmas gift this year. It was brand new still in it's plastic wrap and after completing the puzzle we were missing a piece. We've never had this happen with any other puzzles and I plan on asking for a replacement, but I found it to be rather strange. Not to mention, my son was very disappointed. 01/08/2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Puzzle My two year old loves this puzzle! He was able to put it together himself after having it for just two weeks. He loves dinosaurs and loves the fact that it is so big. He takes his play dinosaurs and matches them up to the pictures. He puts this together everyday. We are going to have to get him another puzzle. The names of the dinosaurs would be great if they were added to the puzzle. 12/16/2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful but no picture legend Wonderful, my 3 year old daughter loves it. The only downside I saw was that it did not come with a picture legend and we had to print it out from the website. I don't remember what I paid for it, but I'm sure Melissa and Doug could afford to put a grayscale printout of the picture and a key of the dinosaurs on it. 09/04/2011
