I really like it. Mopped my entryway, laundry room & kitchen in 10 minutes. It's nice to have 2 pads and the tray for letting it cool is nice. The manual says to dump the water from the holding tank. It would be nicer if you could leave water in the tank for all in between times you just need to spot mop. However, it only takes 30 seconds to heat up. So it's not a deal breaker for me. The cord is plenty long enough to do a large area, multiple rooms.

I checked the reviews on several steam mops and decided to purchase the Hoover steam mop. I've used it several times and I'm pleased with the purchase. I use distilled water rather than tap water and I empty the water chamber each time I use it to decrease the risk of complications related to water deposits. The cost of distilled water is minimal, I have not used the cleaning solution as steam has been doing a great job.

tried just steam, than steam and cleaning solution. Lots of striking and dingy dirty looking. Will give it time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We use this mop on the kitchen, both bathrooms and entrance tile floors. This is a great mop. It cleans quickly and doesn't make a big mess like regular mops. It heats up quickly. Not a big deal to take out to clean up an unexpected mess. You can clean with the Hoover solution and set the dial to how much solution you want to use. washable mopheads I did have a problem with the first twin steam mop. The water tank clips broke off (after 6 months) and we couldn't keep the tank on. I called Hoover and explained the problem, they replaced it within a week of receiving the requested parts back. Doesn't go into all tight places in older bathrooms
